Why is the human gene pool still polluted with those
who think violence will solve anything. Particularly
discouraging are those who want to shoot the messenger.

speaking of violence- city activists have been using the following survey to say now is
not the time to save money by reucing the size of Police forces.

What they fail to tell you is how to come up with the money to pay for more cops.

Also If you see the still photograph in that report- Lansing (where I Live) is not as polluted as it looks. Someone just took a bad photo out of a car and used it.
Here is a different view

That sort of 'art'is the kind of stuff the youngest people on my art academy hang on the walls.

Yep but you can't divorce the creation from the creator.
A 4 year old making art has only the life experience and thought of a 4 year old going into it. Same with a chimp or elephant trunk painting.
Anyone who buys that stuff is mental.

'Anyone who buys that stuff is mental.'
I must say that I agree completely.
But then, that's what I think every time somebody buys one of my pieces.

The 4 year old is perhaps channeling Picasso.
He was after all getting younger and younger
with every painting. Early critics pointed out
that many of his works were childish, that a
child could have done them. But that was his
great discovery, that in the innocence of a
child's eyes everything is simpler and there's
a connection between 'things' (albeit their mere
common existence is the only correlation a child
could formulate).

His genius was to be able to do a style that at that time was associated with children and so called primitive tribes..(remember it all changed for him once he attended the exhibition in Paris of African imagery). He re-invented it to be palatable to the educated European within the tradition of the canon of western art.
The adult thinking process that married the insight with incredible skill of making something new out of different cultural traditions is for me the greatness of picasso..and of course that little signature in the corner helps
Stuff the stuff produced by a literal 4 year old.
