Gotta love the Japanese.
Here is a video that will interest even those
who have no great passion for motorsports.
Using recorded telemetry from the 1989 Japanese GP race,
Honda Racing set up huge speakers, every 30 feet or so, all
the way round the Suzuki track and then played back a
sound recording of Ayrton Senna's Honda-engined F1-car
to simulate a ghostly re-run of his qualifying lap. Using
pure light to represent his car, the multi-stereophonic
sound-track brings the moment to life.
This whole effort is like one of those record-setting
tumbling-dominoes videos where you find yourself saying
'wow' and asking 'why' and 'who would put that much effort
into 1 minute and a half of fun'? But then add in the cost of
very expensive lighting, computer telemetry and simulation
and of course the hundreds of high-end-audio speakers; not
to mention state of the art filming and editing to produce
one of the most exciting Utoob events ever.
It's TRON on steroids.
Go full screen and turn up your speakers.

Wanna see a Jaguar swim out to a sandbar and take down
a seven foot crocodile with a single bite to the brain stem
then carry it off for his leisurely dining pleasure. Yep,
cats do like fishy stuff.

I heard this on Radio 3 the other night, and was gripped. There are no moving images here, just the music. Anna Clyne, "Within Her Arms", performed by the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.
It's 15 minutes long. Do listen to all of it.

What's fascinating as a juggler watching that Koblikov routine is that he can do a five ball Mills' Mess (the thing he does for about 5 seconds starting at 2:45) which is a truly legendary trick, and he can cascade seven balls... but the finale is a *five* ball cascade pattern, he "just" juggles it with a two-ball multiplex on every throw. Very impressive.
