Another video where the concept was stuck going round and round in my head until I could get it out into my computer.

You can call me TC Posted Dec 13, 2015
Many years ago, I saw a breathtakingly beautiful film of Anna Pavlova's Dying Swan, reproduced by a marionette. I have never been able to find it since. Can anyone confirm that it really existed and where it can be found today? I would love to see it again. It was really old and fuzzy in black and white, but so are the videos of Pavlova herself.

Thought this was a skit, till I remembered some 1980s music videos really were that dire. Then it was somehow even funnier.
(Even better if you know anything at all about karate).

Who's Rhea Periman? (Sorry to be so ignorant!)

It did remind me of a great music video skit by...er... (can't remember)... those Brits of Indian extraction who did a BBC radio comedy series in the 1990s ("Going for an English", etc). (Their video featured some Holy Man jigging around with the beat).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhea_Perlman
Rhea Perlman is an actress most widely known for playing Carla Tortelli on Cheers (1982-1993). She's married to Danny Devito. In the Karate video I thought I saw her face right after the "dog with a karate bone" (around 3:30), but probably not.

But I needed a palate cleanser after that.
Here's my favorite cover of that song.
