Not as difficult as it sounds, lunchtime tables can be had fairly easily. <<

Don't bother, the food's ordinary and overpriced. Unless you're interested in celebrity-spotting (and they're never there at lunchtime) I really don't know why anyone goes there. If you're interested in good food in London, let me know, I'll give you some recommendations...

There is no way you could imitate a smiley - peacedove.

Even with the best make-up artist in the world.

The last Meet VV tried and failed! Abysmally!!!

The next lot,

Write an entry - That's hat the other account is for...I just have to get round to it. smiley - biggrin
Stand for election - I can just imagine the speech as the results are announced "Last place, eh? Bugger!"
Get drunk & snog 2legs - I'm gonna do the drunk bit, snogging 2legs might present a problem as he's in Cambridge and I'm in Surrey. The "he's a fella" bit also raises concerns, even in a leather mini. smiley - winkeyesmiley - kiss
Go racing at Brands - No car licence, and I can't get there easily, as I cracked the frame on my bike by jumping over too many hump-backed bridges.
Stay in the Ice hotel - Nah, not my kind of thing.
Be SAS for the day - Ooh, that sound interesting, but smiley - erm so does the powerboating experience from the same website.
Lunch at the Ivy - Not even with a gun at my head. The whole "celebrity hang out" thing bores me to tears.
I am interested in good food though, RF, if you want to give some suggestions re good places to eat.

Of the ones mentioned so far, I'd definitely go with the gliding!

Rains - Wondering where time's going and why it's in so much of a hurry!

My hubby's been gliding, and he loves it - could be worth a go.

Personally, I have to admit I'd go with the powerboating smiley - biggrin.

Here's one. Try to perform a massive media fraud that will make the national media. Nothing dangerous or illegal, just an attempt to get your name on the front page af a few national newspapers by taking advantage of gullibility. April Fool's style. Just think how cool it would be to keep the clippings!

The gliding thing - I think we have a hootooer who does gliding and might have some useful information if you are interested. I'll be damned if I can remember who it is though.

I went here (also part of the Caprice group, which owns the Ivy) and was pretty impressed by it...

Just in case anyone cares (or wants to point and laugh smiley - winkeye) I paid the deposit to go on Stage 1 of an accelerated freefall skydiving course this morning.

In short, by the end of this month, I should have made precisely 1/2 of a plane trip (my first time flying as well, by the way).

The jump should be happening in exactly 2 weeks, so I hope I'll be back to tell you what it was like early in April. smiley - grovel

Accelerated freefall skydiving course? Sounds like something where you get flown up in an old rusty plane, gets handed an umbrella and kicked out the airplane door. smiley - smiley

I hope you have a great time!

Will your jump be in tandem? Will you being freefall?(the only reason I ask is that the 'airgasm' is slightly diminished, apparently - I have some friends that do freefall regularly)

smiley - goodluck

'accelerated' freefall?

Does that involve strapping a smiley - rocket to your back, jumping out of the plane, and hurtling smiley - earthward?

Make sure you wear a decent (or should that be descent smiley - laugh) headgear.

Btw, loved the Canapes thought... smiley - ok

I knew it was 2legs.

Though I admit that as deductions go it wasn't difficult. Who else here would be talking about leather minis?

I think that Son of Roj Blake, or, as he's recently rechristened himself, Bear in mind, is a fan of hanggliding. He has a journal entry about it.

By "it" you meant the quote of the day, yes? Yep... I was pretty sure I knew the source as well. (Of course the spelling of 'jealous' helped smiley - winkeye)
