Not one scene in Harry Potter was filmed... where are we going with this?
I have a home in Hillingdon, West London and lots of film scenes are filmed there. The meeting room in Barra Hall in Hillingdon was used for the Mayor's office in Chocolat and if you look out of the window you can see Barra Hall park which was used in Bend It Like Beckham. The Civic Centre was used in one of the Superman films and Vine street appeared in a Poirot episode.

Reading that article on coca Cola, I asked myself the following:
If coca cola is so called because of the cocaine content, where does Pepsi Cola get its name from?
Is that guy's name really Pendergrast? And how difficult is that to say correctly?

Pepsi comes from pepsin, a digestive enzyme. Cola comes from the kola nut used to flavour the drink.

It is estimated that in about fifty years time (give or take twenty years or so), Santa Claus and all his merry elves will drown as all the ice at the North Pole will melt at some point during the year.

...........And at the same time, all areas in Europe under 15 metres above today's sea level will be flooded. You can add to that something else. All that cold water flooding into the North Atlantic will, in all probability, turn off the Gulf Stream current, giving us all more severe winters than we have had since the end of the last Ice Age.

And when polar bears rest or sleep out on the ice
they cover their noses with their paws to render
them virtually invisible.
(Of course they have to close their eyes and keep
their colourful mouths shut as well.)
