I don't mean you're harrassing me; I mean your harrassment of them, it's getting out of hand. The post about the years and ages adding up to 111, for instance, had nothing at all to do with numerology, yet still you act as if it did and treat him with derision. And there's the fact that, as you yourself just said, you follow them around into every thread everywhere. I once tried to start a conversation with Warner, on HIS personal space, when YOU weren't invited, and you butted in immediately. My point here is that you're actually hurting your cause rather than helping it.

The probability that a randomly selected integer is divisible by 42 without being divisible by 4, 9 or 49 is the reciprocal of 147.

On average, humans have one testicle and one ovary.
It's a fact.

Well, Mr X, I didn't read it as derision (...just Taff).
And it does fall down, doesn't it?

Not precisely for at least three basic reasons I can think of, CZ.
1) M/F is not 1,
2) Some lose stuff as life goes by,
3) There are probably genetically anomalous cases in addition to hermaphroditism.

Ok... pedant:
On average humans have 0.99 testicles and 0.99 ovaries.
Is that better?
And no, I won't express that in factors of prime numbers.

Rod Posted Mar 1, 2011
The whole figures are preferable.
The 0.99 figures - don't they suggest that all those attributes are all in working order? Currently?

Yes. Being precise rather spoils the point of my "factoid".
I take it back.
On average (and only slightly roughly), humans do have 1 testicle and 1 ovary.

Seriously, it's pretty close: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_sex_ratio

The fact about testes/ovaries can be seen as a variant of "The average human being has less than two arms/legs." After all, men like Long John Silver did (and do) exist, Jake the Peg is just a comic song.

Yea, that one made the rounds earlier this year (your aunt probably sent you the email). Some people were quite amazed by it. ("it" being simple addition.)
