Doubly useless and doubly wrong.
See posting 3281 for the original, and posting 3285 for my response proving it is incorrect that it will 'never happen again'.

john wayne couldnt ride a horse. in fact he kept falling off. apparently he also couldnt shoot his way out of a paper bag, and on set someone else had to shot from the sidelines to make it look authentic.

Clint Eastwood is actually allergic to horses.
Which begs the question, were all those horses in the spaghetti westerns thinking;
"Are ya feeling breathless punk..........well are ya?"

That depends on what you mean by "approximately"...technically, anything from 0.5" to 1.4999999999999*" can be defended as "approximate".

And if we find some freaks, one with a joint only 1/8th inch long and the other, a giant, with a joint 9 inches long, their joints are within an order of magnitude.
Heheheh... I said "joint". heheheh.

"Clint Eastwood is actually allergic to horses". There is no reference to this 'fact' on IMdB. Many of the references I could find on the web looked like they had been copied from the same source. The one unique reference I could find was on where it states "It is reported that Clint's gap in western-making was due to a mid-life allergy to horses." Note the word 'reported' - kind of similar to 'alleged', in my book.
"john wayne couldnt ride a horse. in fact he kept falling off. apparently he also couldnt shoot his way out of a paper bag, and on set someone else had to shot from the sidelines to make it look authentic." Actually, John Wayne rode to school every day before his parents ranch failed. There were films where he fell of his horse during filming, but he always continued work, even when suffering from broken bones. I've not been able to find anything that says he couldn't shoot. Besides, if somebody was shooting for him, they'd have to stand behind him, not on the sidelines.
