It took The Guardian a long time to do a piece about that particular urban myth. I remember being told about the 'naughty names' in Pugwash back in the early '80s!

Ey?!
Are they not true then?
How disappointing
... and how sneaky to put it in a real one as well!
Intercourse, PA is in Amish country, near Philly...

There is a village on Mainland, Orkney, which is called Twatt. I have visited said village, although this event has been likened to sending coals to Newcastle.

Aye Bee - that would be North and / or Wyre Piddle then - in Worcestershire
Wyre Piddle has a great pub called "The Fleet" which has provided me with many in the past. ~(useless info)
I love the name - Nempnett Thrubwell in Somerset - wonder where that came from

"that would be North and / or Wyre Piddle then "
Those are the ones you see named on signposts. Tucked away somewhere there's also Piddle-in-the-Hole, a name that causes even more amusement.

That's not useless, that's damn usweful information, Gur! I shall avoid buying any of their recordings based on this data.
On town names, there's all those one in The Meaning Of Liff, which includes Piddletrenthide. And Nempnet Thrubwell, unless I'm very much mistaken.
My favourite place name is Westward Ho! because it has an exclamation mark.
A peanut is not, in fact, a nut. It is a legume.
Peanuts cannot vomit underwater.

More on Batman...
When I worked for a market research company we had a manual listing occupations (to help with the social grading malarkey). Two of the jobs listed were Batman and Spiderman.
