Mine:
Piano
Two classical guitars
Electro-acoustic guitar (purple )
Balalaika
Four different sized recorders: sopranino, descant, treble, tenor
Old tatty tambourine
Keyboard (large casio variety)
Strange hand held keyboard which you blow.... no idea what that's called but I used to like it. Very shrill sound it had. Probably still has.
Belonging to Spouse:
Clarinet
Child-sized classical guitar

I've been dying to contribute to this thread, but my house is a musical desert. The only things i could drag up were;
Mandolin.......the type used in the kitchen for detaching fingertips.
Triangle........from my pool table.
Drumsticks........Turkey or chicken.
Harp............2 cans at the back of the fridge i keep to give to Uncle Jack at Christmas. I hate Uncle Jack.

A Hurdy-Gurdy? Have you actually heard one?
I know this group, from my annual sojourn to a folk festival

Initially very good, but cans become very repetitive.
However Philip is certainly a great exponent of the instrument, and there are probably few better in the UK, imho.

It could very well be a melodica, BrotherMaynard - I wanted to say harmonica but knew that wasn't right!

Laugh all you like, but I love the sound of the hurdy gurdy. I'm a mediaeval music wannabe-specialist, so it kind of fits.

Not a problem. I have enjoyed the Music for many years, and have three of his albums, so can't be all bad. Still think the first is best though!

I've got two Canadian Art and Lutherie Dreadnaught guitars, they're lovely they are, one has a factory fitted pickup which I use when I'm playing with my band. I've got a beautiful Raimundo Spanish guitar which cost me the princely sum of £18 off Ebay cos it's got some structural cracks around the side but it plays absolutely lovely, they cost hundreds of pounds honest, I still can't believe my luck. I use this for folk clubbing and practice at home. When I say folk clubbing, I don't mean going around bashing people, I mean venues where folk afficianadoes meet. I've got a Westone 12 string, in perfect condition, a great guitar for parties as the sound carries great when there is lots of noise around. I've got an original 25 year old Squier Strat, which is black with a white fingerboard, weighs half a ton and it's a great electric which is fantastic for Buddy Holly songs or any where there are quick chord changes. I know people turn their noses up at Squiers, but these old ones have Fender pickups and necks, and there's honestly not much difference between them and vintage strats. I certainly wouldn't change it for anything under about £700, it would be a waste of money. I've got a Kazoo, which I can play rather brilliantly, and a mouth organ which I can't play at all, though I'd dearly love too.

I have a trombone. And my antique bellows powered reed organ is at my mom's until I move into a bigger house. I also have maracas from Costa Rica.
Mom has a parlor grand piano, E-flat clarinet, recorders, keyboard accordian, my brother's trombone and probably my other brother's trumpet.

Recorders in various sizes (about 12 altogether from when I taught recorders in the local school), violin, guitar, two keyboards.
Also a Tweenies tambourine (which probably doesn't count).
It's only the violin which doesn't get much playtime. I'm saving learning how to play it properly for my retirement.

An old Yamaha electronic keyboard and two penny whistles. Hubby and I will be inheriting an old, out-of-tune upright piano and an electric (electronic?) piano when his Mum dies (she has terminal cancer ). Hubby has always wanted to learn to play the piano, but reckons it's too late to start learning now (old dog, new tricks, in his words). I'll give it a go and see how I get on. But that's some months away (we hope).

Hmm, only my voice, and there's plenty who'd say that isn't musical.
airscotia "Harp............2 cans at the back of the fridge i keep to give to Uncle Jack at Christmas. I hate Uncle Jack." isn't that covered by 'cruel and unusual punishment'?

Hammondorgan - Yes, Raimundo make nice guitars. I was very happy with my Raimundo 128 guitar for around 25 years but finally upgraded last year to my Ramirez for its richer tone and easier amplification thanks to the electro-classical set up.
