yup, plus insulting Mancunians, Brummies and deaf people all in one go!

Someone should let him know how useful those with hearing problems find being able to txt people!

And did you hear the cheer when Hislop suggested Boris should be next PM smiley - laugh

I wouldn't put *too* much belief in the "bumbling buffoon" persona, myself...he just uses that to disguise his stunning intellect.

Yes, I can seriously see Boris as a future PM. Doesn't want to shoot his bolt too soon, as Hague did.

Clive the flying ostrich: Amateur Polymath | Chief Heretic.

HIGNFY was hilarious with Boris this week.

"Never mind. Never mind. Stagger on."

"My objective is to survive."

I've not laughed so hard in ages. smiley - rofl

Very true. I don't mind buying into the bumbling buffoon persona so long as it is harmless. He has shown on quite a few occasions that he is as sharp as one would need to be to survive this long in the Tory party, and you don't get to be 4th (was it?) highest on the members interests lists without knowing exactly what you are doing.

But I do think he also has a certain degree of not really thinking about some things before he does them.

No.

I read his magazine, but don't feel the need to participate any further than that.
