Is w**king necessary?
My side. Posted Aug 4, 2003
Very interesting thread. Gave me a good laugh and stopped me w**king. Was only doing in the garden anyway.I think the council employ the best w**kers and most of them have top qualifications.
Wish i got paid for w**king by the hour,I would only have to w**k for one day a week.
But i sure i would volunteer to w**k for free to pass a bit of time on the hot, sticky days.

The government are currently paying me for not w**king, and believe me, it's not easy.

Actually, I'm surprised no-one's brought up the issue of vocational training.
The Government think we should all be trained to w**k properly. University students, despite the rumours just don't put in enough hard w**king to justify their education. For once, I'm in complete agreement with Blair on this, although I do think he spends too much time w**king with George Bush.

Americans, makes me think of those photos of the depression era, pictures of men with placards saying "will w**k for food"

As I said earlier, though - food's the main reason I w**k. Well, that and paying my internet bills.

The internet has certainly opened up new spheres of w**king

I for one will volunteer in helping single mothers in their endeavours to get back into w**king. Stay strong sisters.

Quite, it is indeed an unfortunate fact that due to the ever increasing population many of us may be forced to continue to w**k longer and harder. Indeed there may be no alturnative.

W**k, which while it does embolden the soul, is increasingly becoming a health risk due to improved technological advances and the 'knowledge economy' which have rendered many forms of industrial w**king redundant. Thus people are finding themselves sat in front of a computer screen for 8 hours a day w**king non-stop, causing repetitive strain injury, back and posture problems, and tunnel vision.
Personally I can stand w**king. I'd prefer to sit at home and knock one out in front of Countdown

I think this thread is very cruel on candle-makers. Wicking is still a very noble profession.

So, is it true then that all w**k & no play, makes Jack a dull boy?
Also, quite apart from the repetitive strain issue, I do wonder about this theory that one's eyesight can be affected.
Should there be pressure applied for a shorter w**king w**k?

If Jack is not w**king, would that be 'Jack off'?

Jack off all trades I suppose. The oldest profession? W**king girls & all that?
I wonder if some folks still think that men w**k harder than women, just because they are usually physically bigger?
Terri.

I think you'll find women put in just as much w**k when they're not being watched.

I've been doing voluntary w**k for a few months now. The ladies in the office think I'm marvellous at it.
