Whatever your opinion of Ex LDers, maybe you should keep them to yourself, refering to us as "dregs of society" is totalyy out of order. You dont know half the people that used LD, so your in no position to be abusive towards us.

Where to start.......here goes:
When h2g2 was created I doubt it was meant to be exclusive to any particular group of people. In fact I imagine it was to bring people together whatever their walk of life/interests/nationality etc..
Leisure District was not JUST a chat room as many of you seem to think, it was a site which is not a million miles apart from h2g2 as follows:
1. It contained forums where you could go and talk/debate on various subjects
2. It had a games area....there are many threads on here which offer the same...ie word games
3. It had a message area, where you could keep in touch with other people.....I believe what I am posting would be classed as a message...
4. It had a variety of chat rooms.....now I don't know about anybody else, but I consider the threads etc on here to be a form of chatting, we "interact" with each other, including people from different parts of the world to ourselves
As regards the sudden "influx" of EX LDers....I myself have had this link going on 2yrs and used it at the same time as LD NOT as a substitute and if LD does return will continue to do so
I would like to know exactly what it is that makes us "inferior/dregs of society"....and if the "powers that be" on here were of that opinion, then why are so many ACE's Ex LDers.....
This site was not created to form a "them and us" situation, but to bring people together. Many Ex LDers have contributed to this site and join in various forums. EVERYBODY has something to offer
But at the end of the day if you do not wish to talk to anybody from whatever background etc...then that choice is yours
