Shhhhhh........due to circumstances and stuff - I think I'm back now! and a bit of front :-)

Ahhhh - Pipkins it was.........hey what about that Dolphin as well as the hyper intelligent kangaroo - I must admit I was never into Lassie - never understood how human adults could talk the language - and the amount of disaster that animal became involved in!
Talk about disaster prone!!

Wow, this is my kind of thread! I'm always reminiscing about TV from when I was little - people tell me I'm stuck in my childhood!

I know many of these have already been mentioned but ones I really remember include:
Superted
Bananaman (Eric IS Bananaman! (Particularly funny for me and my sister as our dad is called Eric!))
Potsworth and Co (please someone else tell me they watched this!)
Captain Planet
Count Duckula
Trapdoor
Stoppit and Tidyup (which I watched the video of recently as my friends has it - it was hilarious!!)
What-a-Mess (does anyone remember the TV show - I had the colouring book y'see!)
Where on Earth is Carmen San Diego? (no one else I've spoken to remembers this. I seem to remember it had a cool theme tune!)
The Family Ness (another cool theme tune!)
80 Days around the world
Willow the Wisp (only remember this vaguely)
Button Moon (smiley - musicalnote We're off to Button Moon...smiley - musicalnote)
Inspector Gadget

The list goes on as you can probably guess....!!

I recently watched a BBC tape of Noddy - it was fantastic - I never realised that the two goblins - can't remember their names off hand - but their accents seem to have given John Cleese a gift! I never realised Noddy had a bit of a lisp either....."You naughty wobbers"

Noddy, a lisp? smiley - smiley Surprised it took this long for someone to mention Noddy.

In the 'Watch With Mother' series I liked 'Tales of the Riverbank' best.

Anyone remember 'Inch High, Private Eye'? I liked the way he ran from side to side on the car steering wheel. smiley - biggrin

The Pink Panther was good too, and Scooby Doo. Is the new Scooby Doo film any good, anybody?

Remember Metal Mickey, anybody? smiley - smiley

Lost in Space was good. The more recent movie was not bad either - with a slightly more plausible reason for them all being there than the series had. The rebuilt robot was a good jokey reference to the series. Matt LeBlanc was surprisingly good too.

Re: Scooby Doo Movie - a couple of conflicting views! smiley - smiley I might rent it out, if only because Sarah Michelle Gellar is usually worth watching.

Shhhhhh mentioned Catweazle: "Aaargh a box that speaks". "It's only a transistor". "You have entranced thy sister?" smiley - laugh

Shhhhhh........due to circumstances and stuff - I think I'm back now! and a bit of front :-)

Lost in Space - that odd "robot" - half built like the michelin man - wandering around emitting calls of "warning warning"
with strange and rather effeminate "Doctor" who was the "baddie" most of the time - classic stuff

Anyone remember 'Flashing Blade'? I think it must have been on in the early seventies. It was a French production dubbed (badly) into English and featured a bunch of guys in period costume (don't ask which period) charging about on horses, biffing people and flashing their blades. It was on nearly every holiday. It had a semi-memorable theme song which went;
"You've got to fight for what is right and you believe..." there was more, but unfortunately it falls into the 'semi' category.

ps - Aqua Marina was my first love too.
smiley - musicalnote Marina, my Aqua Marina, what is that strange enchanting smell of fish whenever you're neeee-aaarr!smiley - musicalnote
