For years I thought the brief memories I had of what turned out to be Chorlton and the Wheelies was just my imagination as no one remembered it!

Still not sure if i dreamed up Monkey ..anyone else remember that one?

Gnomon - time to move on

I remember Monkey but I never watched it. I remember that most of the actors in it were the same ones as in "The Water Margin" a long running serial about Ancient Chinese heroes (not superheroes) who were rebelling against the evil Emperor.

MUSTANG-SALLY..(So scared of the dark, I panic when I blink).

I can't believe no-one has mentioned 'Tales From the Riverbank', narrated by Johnny Morris, featuring Toad from Toad Hall and Hammy Hamster. The Herbs - with Dill the Dog and Parsley the Lion. Oh and Pipkins was another good one, although the rabbit in that used to scare the hell out of me (oh those teeth)! smiley - bluebutterfly

Emma and Sophie Thompson are the famous daughters of Eric, narrator of 'The Magic Roundabout'

I have vague memories of 'Four Feather Falls' Gerry Anderson's first series, but clearer ones of his second 'Fireball XL5'

Andy Pandy, Noggin the Nog, The Woodentops and Dobbin are all series I watched when small.

I have no idea what it was called, but does anyone remember a cartoon in the mid to late 80s that was on really early in the morning (about 6 i think!), possibly on a saturday. it was inside the body, with the blood cells and stuff as characters, and the the guy controlling everything in the brain was an old man with a long white beard. i'd love to know what it was called if anyone can remember!! smiley - smiley

What a great thread! smiley - biggrin Has this not been done before?

Anyone remember an early monochrome (in the days when it was black and white smiley - erm) series called Space Patrol? It had a doughnut shaped spaceship which made a [DON'T LAUGH] "doodle oooo dooo" noise [LAUGH NOW]. It featured a futuristic city with cars travelling in transparent tubes (I think) and a scary space port traffic controller.

smiley - laugh Marina at two and six a pound smiley - laugh Fabulous.
