I think the rest of the Smiths would veto Morrisey, but as far as I know they're not active on this list, so ...
And if Gromit is of Wallace and Gromit fame, you can get rid of him, whenever I see him I want to squidge him into one unrecognisable lump of plasticine. So I guess that would take Nick Park out of the running to.
If the dopey blond tory was Boris Johnson he can stay, anyone else and he's booted I'm afraid.
And yeah, I agree to getting rid of Ozzy, unless we state Ozzy-pre-MTV-days, then he can stay.
That's it for now.

Yes, the dopey blonde Tory was meant to be Boris Johnson.

Ought we to restrict ourselves to people who are alive, or have we no scruples about speaking ill of the dead?

Nope, vetoed on the grounds that she introduced *that* song to the world, which means we now have to listen to it being sung anywhere groups of OAPs gather together in groups of three or more.

But surely wanting to share the billing is a good sign of humility?
Unless I'm getting that the wrong way round, that is.

Well, it seems to me that all the other nominations where for individuals, not groups.
Should groups of people be allowed?
I ask merely in a pot-stirring type away.

Yep, I'm sure it is. The point of this thread, however is to find people whom *everyone* likes- any disent means the person's disqualified. So Dame Vera is out the running.
So far we have three or four, all of whom I like. If you don't like them, they'll be disqualified, simple as that.

Probably not famous enough, but no-one could dislike Lisa Burke, who does the weather on Sky News.
