Aaargh! Sigourney??? No no no no. Her, Winona Ryder and Holly Hunter - who can tell them apart???
The only thing I can even watch SW in is Galaxy Quest - and only then because it takes the p*ss!

sinister pre-empted me. I don't like Sigourney Weaver for the terrible and shameful reason that, in a world full of attractive film-stars, she is a not-at-all-attractive film star.
One day I will get around to reading Philip Pullman's books. Until then, the only thing I have to go on is the hype an I _don't_ like hype.

I don't see much of Tori recently, but she first appeared at a time when it seemed rare to find people in the pop arena who were genuinely skilled with an instrument. Of course, it still is, but I've since defected onto indie and rock preferences, where actual musical ability is still more important than looking good at premieres (in my opinion). You'll not find any complaints from me about Tori Amos.
