lol....think the 50's....White Xmas, probably best known - was made over 10 years before i was born, if you get the chance: watch - i know they may seem a bit duff (no car chases, sfx, but he really is/was a brilliant dancer)!

Del boy and Barbara good (Good life). RL peeps what played them could possibly also fall into category. DJ is one of the nicest peeps I have had the priviledge to meet...many lifetimes ago over breakfast in the beeb canteen even before 'open all hours'. He won't remember me but I will never forget how lovely he was as a person way before he was famous.

I went off David jason after seeing him on Parkinson - thought he was trying too hard to be witty. Felicity K. - too simpering (even if unintentional).
Yes to Danny Kaye - brilliant!
How about Stephen Moore? (Marvin) Or Martin Jarvis?

Well, obviously you can only like someone completely if you don't really know them. Celebrities are a good example. Of course there are exceptions to every rule....Felicity Kendal....mmmmmmmm.

Danny Kaye one of my all time favourite talents. In RL allegedly not quite so sweet. I hope the rumours are untrue...I hate it when heroes fall.
Felicity Kendall doesn't quite 'do it for me' in the way that Alan Rickman does (sigh) but I thought this thread was about people that nobody dislikes?

Alan Rickman....almost makes me wish I was gay.......almost. (Not implying that he is in any way unless he is and of course there is nothing wrong with that...)
Too true about celebs in real life. That must be why biographies are much more popular than autobiographies.
