Tonsil Revenge (PG) Posted Mar 13, 2003
"Life of Brian"
"Look, you're all individuals!"
Crowd: "Yes! We're all individuals!"
"I'm not."
"Young Frankenstein"
"I remember what my Dad used to say during times like these..."
"Um. What did your father say?"
"Get out of the bathroom and give someone else a chance!"
"Princess Bride"
"Ah... Hello, Lady!"
"Sleep well and dream of large women..."
"HUMPERDINCK! HUMPERDINCK! HUMPERDINCK!"
"I'm not listening!"
"Wait! You mean if I cure this fellow, Humperdinck suffers?"
"Humiliations galore!"
"Lethal Weapon"
"I think I saw this place on 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Shameless'..."
"Long Kiss Goodnight"
"What's that kid's name? Cat head?"
"Caitlan!"
and then there are those totally bizarre moments when we drive to church on sunday mornings with the spousal unit and the child and I singing along to "Every Sperm Is Sacred" or the "Medical Song"...
The movie we have watched to death recently was "Fifth Element".
We don't quote it much, but we know every scene.

The Replacements has a few memorable quotes that I hear frequently at football practice.
John Madden: 'I love to see a fat guy score.'
Pat Summerall: 'Why?'
John Madden: 'Because then you get to see a fat guy spike, then you ge tto see a fat guy dance.'
Nigel Gruff (played by that Spike guy from Nitting Hill): 'You just hold the ball, Shane, and I'll kick the bl**dy pi$$ out of it.'
Shane Falco: 'Pain heals. Chicks dig scars. Glory... lasts forever.'
Then I go around using curses from Red Dwarf. 'Smeggin' 'eck!', 'Smeghead!' and the likes.

The Dwarf is always good for quotes.

It'd have to be Lock Stock, wouldn't it?
I very rarely find myself telling someone to relax without saying "Chilll Winstarn" and never ever again can I describe something as "cheap" without adding "like the budgie"
Damn film.

"I was visiting a bar there, not unlike this one. They serve beer, not quite as good as this, but close. And in walks the biggest Mexican I have ever seen, big as shit! Just walks in like he owns the place. And nobody knew quite what to make of him, or quite what to think. But there he was and in he walked."
"Bless me father, for I have just killed quite a few men."
You are not alone, Inky, no you aren't. Haven't counted how often i watched the thing, but i do know why."Sick, slick fun." that's why.

Was that a reply to me? 'Cause uh-uh. But it is a good movie, not exactly quotable though.
