OK, first of all;
Jonathan Ross IS funny. I used to think he was a t**t (wants to join the modded gang) too until quite recently when I realised he can usually give most people a verbal lashing and have the whole audience on his side very very quickly.

Ainsley Harriott, while admittedly a wally, went up in my estimation considerably when someone asked him whether he was treating his girlfriend for Valentine's Day. When he said "of course", the person asked him where he was taking her, and in this deep growly Jamaican voice he just calmly goes;
"We not goin' out."

Reeves and Mortimer are the only people who can make the absolute gibberish they come out with funny.

And Cox and Moyles should both stick to radio.

And finally, my nomination for biggest Telly Wally (which sounds like an Indian festival) is........(drum roll)......Richard Madeley. Not that his walliness is a bad thing, it's quality entertainment watching the doofus largely responsible for the inspiration fo Alan Partridge bumbling and fluffing his long suffering wife to early wrinkles via such blase faux pas' (plural of faux pas, anyone?) and non-jokes. He deserves an award.

Rich&Jude deserve each other. Blithely spouting nonsense secure in the knowledge that The Nation Loves 'em.

I thought a pregnant fish was a twit. I know that is the name for a pregnant guppy. And on the the western bank of the pond, the biggest tw*t in media would be Regis Philbin and any cohost of the day.

Funny how even the language of swearing is evolving!!

Gosh I so hate that chap on Rise.I still wanna beat him black and blue.And Woss and his brother and every television/antique show presenter/house and garden makovers twits.Add Mortmer and Reeves,that Hill chap,Badiel and Skinner.I've got fed up with J.Vaughn and Graham Norton now too.In fact I now realise I hate all the TV presenters these days.They aren't about presenting a show anymore but more about self aggrandizement these days.

For me, the likes of Jonathon Ross and Lenny Henry are from the "if I shout loud enough people will think I'm funny" school.

Chris Moyles should *not* stick to the radio he should be stuck to a rocket being launched into the sun.

How does he *always* manage to be on when I decide to see whats on radio 1?? Apart from him the daytime is not bad (my usual choice for driving long distances)...if only they would mash moyles into a little pile of gloop and give mark and lard the whole afternoon I would be a happy bunny - I might even listen to it on my drive home.

Do TV stations and radio stations do surveys to find out who is genuinely liked or disliked, or is it just a case of the likes of Moyles being someone's blue-eyed boy?

This is true, though Moyles seemed to get a lot nastier after he lost lots of weight! Mark and Lard - I dunno, just never got 'em I guess!

I think Mark & Lard _and_ Moyles are funny (except on that C5 TV show), although the former can sometimes be a bit impenetrable to newcomers, and the latter does occasionally go beyond the pale.
I saw about 5 minutes of Davina on the Brit Awards and changed over immediately. I just thought she seemed acerbic and impolite without being witty. I suppose some would say that about Moyles...
