America doesn't broadcast Torchwood. They SAID they would. They gave time tables for it and everything. But is it there? No!

I on msn 90% of the time... just appear offline, it's much easier...
My petty hate is people who project their worst fears about themselves onto you because you show a little honest frustration once in a while.

I don't hide on it, there’s always someone needing your help on homework or something in my world (A Level student)… but my friend does that cos this Asperger’s guy we know won’t leave us alone, even after repeated calls for him to… jeez.

That's why, when you need to be busy, you're better off lurking, so long as you remembr to come out of hiding when you *are* available!
good on you for wanting to be available, but remember to put yourself first sometimes!

I saw a lovely mug in a shop window, went in and found they only had two left, got a special knockdown price for the pair and took them home. I now find they're made of some sort of superconducting material which makes the outside too hot to touch until the point at which the coffee inside is almost completely cold!
They are very funky though, I may use them as vases.

"Dave, what you need is a video recorder."
You're right of course, but I gave up on them after three in a row developed stupid mechanical faults, and it became imposible to connect it sensibly along with the Sky box and DVD player. Another petty hate of mine. VCRs are not normally necessary anyway, since there's more channels than programmes and everything is usually on somewhere. Unless it's a BBC production.

People who chew with their mouths open.

People who snap their gum. Particularly when they chew it like a cud, snap a few times, then blow a bubble and suck it in so it pops as loudly as possible. I resist the urge to throttle, them, though, because I'm aware they're doing it on purpose in order to be annoying.
And again today, like every other day, microwave popcorn.

Br. Robyn Hoode- I'm online unless I'm busy, then I'm busy. I never ‘hide’ as such so when I am offline I'm really not there.
What’s wrong with microwave popcorn? Yes, I dislike people who chew with their mouths open too.

Microwave popcorn stinks up the whole office with (carcinogenic, no less) foul fumes. And I also hate people who chew with their mouths open. What about when they suck the food out from between their teeth instead of using a toothpick?

People who drive at less than the speed limit for no obvious reason. The road from our local supermarket goes up a hill. The speed limit there is 40mph. Tonight we got stuck behind somebody who seemed unable or unwilling to go above 30. When we got to the top of the hill, where the speed limit dropped to 30, this person dropped their speed to about 25mph.

I second both of those.
How about hotel rooms that supply towels the size of washcloths. I've had that experience before, too.

I've seen hotels supplying little doses of shower gel/shampoo (in a small pack similar to those towelettes you get in restaurants when you eat messy food).
They're not even sufficient for *one* use, so how do they expect us to last a whole week with them Better not to supply anything.
