Shaving: why?
Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Nov 23, 1999
Although I'm not bald -- nor shall I be in the forseeable future -- I have to say that I have a lot more respect for guys that shave their heads than those who wear silly hairpeices or try the ol' comb over routine. Now that's when the beards really do look good -- shaved head w/ beard = cool

People who shave their heads? Yuck! However I *do* agree on the bit about hairpieces or other tricks to look more hairy.
On the other hand: you must admit that such is easy for us to say, as long as we don't suffer any bald spots ourselves.

My bald uncle is currently growing a mustache. My brother claims he wants to comb it over.

bald uncle? Oh, wait... you're talking about a guy whose forehead has grown over the top all the way to his back
And now he tries to do the same trick with his upper lip

A guy I know just shaved his head recently and apparently quit shaving at the same time. I'm still waiting to see how it looks in a few months.
Why Shave?
kimmy Posted Nov 24, 1999
It may irritate the face, but it does feel nice between the legs!!!

I have long blond hair and an old testament style beard which is red. This unusual set up prevented me from growing a beard for a while but now I like it. I get serious grief from my girlfriend if I shave as apparently stubble is more irritating than beard. Even if it goes against all your normal style orientation everyone who can should grow one at least once. Otherwise, you'll never know how nature wanted you to look. Also, I find it has considerable thermal benefits in winter.

I can testify to the thermal advantages of hairyness in winter. When I decided to see what I looked like underneath my dreadlocks and facial fluff I found the cold winter air that suddenly found it's way to my face and scalp rather unpleasant to say the least.
Chears to Luna for your appreciation of red fluff, I wish ladies like you were in the majority.
Key: Complain about this post
