Today I woke up feeling like *me* again, which I haven't, quite, for the last week. Everything was kinda pale and I felt sucked of energy. Didn't know why, really. I picked up a book which had been given to me almost two months ago on soul retrieval and started reading it and . That was a really cool coincidence. Now I think I want to build myself a drum.

Having a drum would rock!

Best thing for me was waking up and feeling I'd been asleep for aaaaaaaages! Though strangely enough I still feel knackered!

Putting together a new look from old clothes bought in different places!

I am fabulous today in a green velvet skirt (bought in the UK about 6 years ago), a purple velvet top (bought elsewhere in the UK a couple of months ago), and an exactly matching purple cardigan (bought on holiday in Australia last year). So I am feeling elegant and ready for the world in what amounts to a new outfit!

Oh - and I get to visit my Private Life next weekend - when I can be passionate in purple and glamorous in green...

My husband phoned to say he is in the departure lounge awaiting his flight back to London and that he can't wait to see me.

This morning I got a reply from a friend to something I'd typed to him under the influence of waaaaay to many cocktails the other night, was worried that I'd probably totally alienated him and wouldn't hear from him again. Instead he said this: "Funny thing is, the MoG in my head said almost exactly the same thing before I read your reply. Sorry, but you've become part of the internal process of calming me down when I'm totally ticked or crazy - yes, I've got a pocket MoG simulator in my head."

I'm sooooo flattered.

The best thing that happened to me today was getting a lot of posts on my various 'help' threads re my homesick and homeless daughter in Sydney, NSW.

You're a fabulous bunch of people out there!

well, it wasn't today, but it's been within the last 24 hours so i guess it counts..

my ex asked for my opinion about purchasing a ring for his future mrs. this just reinforces how good of friends we've become since our split, something i'm very proud of achieving



oh, yes, and it snowed (again)!

I watched my wife reading and realised yet again how lucky I am.

Well I went to this really nice restaurant and I stuffed myself with delicious food The steak, lobster, salad, and ice cream were good

Last night my dad came over for a visit with us and we've managed to bake a Jam Roly Poly, cookies and tidy up the house, after spending much time in bed.
It was also a nice visit, my baby brother played with my husband and I talked CALMLY to my dad and his partner. After they'd left- we went out for a walk...

Sounds like some of the things my husband tells me. I just sit and read, or play with my hair or something, and then all of a sudden hear a sigh...
