We have powerboats in town for the races. Big field and lots of boats. Races on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The chase helicopters arrive on Thursday. I went out to the pits today to check them out and we have got some real beauties here this year.

Most locals broke out the hoodies yesterday. There's definitely a chilly feeling in the North wind, and the humidity is back up to 86%. It's about time for us to get our spectacular November wall-o-fog in broad daylight.

Its been raining lightly and sporadically since late afternoon, which usually promises a substantial rainfall during the night. No lightning and thunder as predicted in some of the forecasts, at least as yet.

Interpreting in terms of the "I Ching" (which was originally developed as a predictive tool by King Wen on a basis of observations of the weather during the period of his captivity), I'd describe the phenomenon of the moment as a '9' and a changing line.
