It is cold, overcast but dry. The temperature is 3°C but it feels more like 2°C. The wind speeds are 3 mph SSW.

It's quite a bit warmer- 22°F/ -6°C- and we accumulated about four inches of snow yesterday evening.

Tomrrow, they're forecasting sleet and freezing rain, but fortunately it will change back to snow Friday and over the weekend.

Clear skies until 13:00 and by 14:00 there was scattered clouds but the sky was about 55% clear. It has been a sunny but cold day. Since it has became dark and the have appeared their is very little clouds but I have not yet seen the . The top temperatures have been 6°, it is now 5°C but feels like 3°C. The winds speeds are 6 mph WSW.

Cloudy with a few breaks in the cloud and some very brief bright/sunny periods during the morning and early afternoon.

The temperature is 10°C and it feels colder than it was yesterday. The wind speeds are 7 mph SW.

It started out with clear skies and a few whisps of clouds by late morning a light scattering of clouds appeared. There has been plenty of strong sunshine although low in the sky. From 13:00 the clouds started to build up more quickly and now it is cloudy. The top temperature has been 6° and it felt warmer than yesterday's 10°. The temperature is now 7°C but feels like 4°C. The wind speeds are 10 mph SSW.

It's sunny and cold in Chicago today. Currently -4°F/ -20°C (wind chill -21°F/ -29°C), and we accumulated another 4-6 inches or so of snow last night.

It is the shortest day of the year.

Last night there was a red sky but it started out dull and brightened at noon. Partly cloudy with bright and sunny spells. The temperature is 12°C. The wind speeds are 15 mph W. Sunrise 08:02 and sunset 15:52.

It's a fairly bright sunny MOnday morning here in London on the eve of the eve of Christmas eve! There are a few clouds in the sky but it's mostly clear. It's been a bit milder in the past few days with the temperature hitting the 8-9c mark each day. Right now at 08.45 it's about 4c and there's no wind chill. I even went back to my lighter jacket this morning.

Cloudy and overcast all day apart a very brief glimpse of the sunshine which lasted about 10 minutes. The temperature is 11°C.

It is sunny and warm with blue skies and light breezes. The temp is 31c and the overnight minimum was 18c and the water temp in the surf is 23c and thats how the weather will be for the next few days including Christmas...yayyyyyyyyyy

Ah yes Jim, just noticed you're in Bradford...the only way you get to know about other weather happening other than rain and wind is by finding out that it's happening elsewhere...I lived there for 5 years...and thoroughly enjoyed it...though after a year in Salford anywheres better.
