h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

When I went jogging this morning about 8:30, it was 70F, partly cloudy and humid. It is now 1:30 PM, it is 40F, overcast and all the windows in the house are dripping wet, condensation on the inside. I think summer is over.

Here in Eastbourne it's been warm and wet all day, and while we did have the heating on earlier in the day, we're quite confortable now.

Today Rain overnight, late morning & afternoon,

It has been dry but cloudy from 5pm onwards and it is 20:43.

Overall a cold, wet day and the rain caused a lot of accidents on the road due to speed and traffic jams. There was also road works too which made things worse.

A cold damp and drizzley day but the sky has cleared up lovely and all the stars are visible (astronomers delight) and there is a faint purplish brownish haze in the horizon.

Last night strong gale force winds and a great a deal amount of rain. Later on in the morning it had dried up and the sun came out but there was a cold breeze. It looks like the sky is clear, (moon visible) and a brownish haze in the horizon.

Beautiful December weather today (after a rough night Thursday night...). Currently 4:50 PM in Chicago, 15.4°F (-9.2°C), wind at 22.4 mph, and clear, with 49% humidity.

Some sunshine this late morning after a very dull and windy start then it went dull again around 2pm.

It is not windy but it is cold and miserable now.

It was raining most of the day and early afternoon in Thurrock but by the late afternoon it dried up and the clouds became less by the evening. The sky is about 70% clear and there are some fluffy clouds. Over all a very wet and cold day.

It has been sunny in the morning and early afternoon but the sun became hazy in the late afternoon. Even when it was at its sunniest it was very cold.

Hi Jim it's wet and windy here in barnsley as well. I saw that item on the news and like you i would hate to spend christmas roofless.
