In the Tobermory Youth Hostel a few years ago the warden spent a good five minutes explaining to my daughter (in a verra thick accent) what he wanted her to do, after which she nodded and confidently left the room. When we subsequently went out she accosted us and hissed "WHAT did he say?"

We never did work it out.

So we went in, together with lots of english and dutch tourists.
And we all had to sing 'tulips from Amsterdam"...

But we 'admired' the English. On the camping next to us stood a small tent (1 metre high, 2 long) and out came an English couple, perfectly dressed in full evening gear.
