Well the empirical evidence I've amassed so far would seem to confirm the hypothesis but I haven't really managed a sufficiently large sample (scientifically speaking, of course ). Perhaps we should do a survey?

It is alleged. I have no reference frame other than Kurt Vonnegut, who states average measurements for America in 1972 in Breakfast Of Champions. I am above avergae for 1972, by a variable amount ... but not by much.
