I've always been told I have pianist hands. But I can't play the piano so what's the use.

They're very good for running through people's hair, typing, and sophisticated and elegant A427204. Ahem.

Well, the girlfriend I had, thought I had nice hands. And she didn't complain about the either.

It is fine to 'go for' firm legs, I just doubt many women would appreciate that as a chat-up line. Maybe men like being complimented on their bodies by total strangers in bars, I don't know!

Incidentally, firm to me suggests sturdy or stocky rather than toned, but what do I know

Perhaps someone will offer to teach you to play. That was how I managed to get my incredibly shy husband round to my house the first time - told him he had pianist's hands and offered to teach him. Gave me an excuse to sit close on the piano stool, stand behind and lean over his shoulder, touch those beautiful hands.....
(He never did learn to play the piano)

Pianists' hands, guitarists' hands, violinists' hands. concertina players' hands, Northumbrian pipers' hands.... and the way the muscles move in their arms....
