Where can I find some nice friendly girls?

Perhaps if you're worrying about the other person's feelings then it makes you that much more nervous when making an approach? And we've been through lack of confidence = ed many a time before on this thread.

Whenever anyone talks about sodding human partners and just living with pets, i'm always reminded of a Friends episode where Chandler is convinced that he is going to spend the rest of his life alone and decides:
"I'm going to get a snake and then another snake and another and another. And the kids will run past my door crying, 'don't go near the Snake Man."
Well I always thought it was funny , and rather a cool idea , though I might go for something other than snakes.

Hi! How is everyone? I've not been in this thread for ages, so thought I'd better update you on what's been happening with me for the past few months...
Well, me and my Nice Friendly Guy were going out together for a couple of months, all was going really well. Then the L word passed his lips when he was pissed, just before shoving me into the car of a bloke who I'd never met before who proceeded to sing "You're fit but my gosh don't you know it?" whilst simultaneously coaxing a fiver out of my purse for petrol money...
A few weeks later, NFG just stopped talking...literally....I rang him and texted him but he didn't reply back to me. So after a couple of days of silence, I began contemplating the possibility that he had been in a terrible accident and died tragically young, but I favour the thought that he had been rendered incapable of acting humanely and was a head...
So a few weeks passed while I happily went about with my tedious life, when I was told that one of my ex's still fancied me, I fancied him even when he was breaking up with me last time so I jumped at the chance to go out with him again After about a week of seeing each other he broke up with me again - saying that he fancied me but didn't want anything more and just hadn't had the heart to tell me that at the start
So after years of searching for someone who is cute, caring, protective and loyal - I've finally realised that I've been looking at the wrong species....
Tommorow, I've decided to go to the RSPCA and get an Alsation.

Sounds like you've a bad last few months Footbacon.
Odd that guy just disappearing like that, you haven't heard/seen any of his mates or anything?
(wonders whether to disguise himself as a Alsation )
(also wonders what a deadpan smiley would look like?)

Something like this? :-|
Sorry to hear of your travails, Footbacon. There are plenty of nice, caring, sensitive, fit, attractive NF guys out there...trouble is, they all have boyfriends already.

Hey Footy! That is !
Don't know if Ged would be an alsation... then thought, what type of dog would he be, then thought to ask; if you all were a dog, what type would you be? Then thought, that although men may be okay with comparing themselves to different types of dog, most women certainly wouldn't be! Though I'd probably be an Alsatian.. soppy but of some intelligence! Hexcuse me, I'm rambling, I'm tired.
Going on holiday this evening to Liverpool for the weekend!! Staying with Fuzzy's scouse side of the family
It'd be nice for this bloke to at least let you know he's okay. And if he is, he's obviously a git! It all teaches us stuff, though we're not sure what at the time.
