Magwitch - My name is Mags and I am funky.

Oh, and England won't win again because we enter cr@p songs and performers. Maybe we need another established band again. (anyone for Karins and the Waves?)

I thought you could have at least come up with a cheesey(sp?) band!

Maybe we ought to search the Polish communities and do a Pop Idol type of thing....

After what happened with Finland I think we should get Motorhead or Ozzy Osbourne, complete with smiley - bat (Rubber of course) to represent us next year

Percy "Thrills" Thrillington ("I shall write to the lead singer of Echo & The Bunnymen!")

Wouldn't The Darkness be closer to a British equivalent of this year's winner?

I don't think I'll bother with it next time. The new voting system has killed it for me. smiley - sadface

Thanks! That's really sweet of you to offer to buy us all a trip to Finland for Eurovision. I'm glad to be the first to gracefully accept your invitation! smiley - winkeye

Well, I was willing to bid for the trip along with His Toggness, Terry Wogan, for childer in need, but once the voting got into 4 figures I backed off (last time I heard it was up to £22,000 smiley - yikes)

Was delighted to spot an Eastern European food shop in the city where I will soon be living, which indicates that

a) there is a very mixed community there, and
b) I can stock up on salty liquorice, pickled herring and garlic lard in time for Eurovision 2007!
