What do women want?

Post 381

Semantics?
Bad blinking grammar, more like. An infinitive (eg 'to beat') should never be 'split' by an adverb (eg 'to boldly go', 'to physically beat'). Capeesh?

Well, excuse me Amy; if you would care to peer through your red mist, you'd see that I was being jovial in my criticism.

Plus Abi has used that distinctly unfair posting editing tool that the italics have access to. Not fair. smiley - sadface

Phil

Well maybe so, but I only saw the beat physically thing.

Thanks for the compliment Abi, though I might disagree with it on some points.

Amy I am well acquainted with Nexus' perculiar brand of humour. Unfortunately, everytime I see him my ego is reduced to a bloody mess on the floor. But some how I struggle through...

You're welcome to, if you want, but you'd be wrong. I would have meted out the same punishment to a woman breaching netiquette in the same way (jovially, of course smiley - smiley).

But women don't correct other women like that unless they are very weird. A headmistress I once worked for once did a dance around the staffroom when she found a mistake in one of my reports but she was mad - red eyes, hair on palms on hands, MAD. smiley - witch
