Gaaaaa! I have to go to Uni to bring back my book because it was due today and the online thingy didn't work anymore today! That means paying 10 Euros for the train just to go there with that book, show it to them, pay 1 Euro or something for keeping it longer and then getting the book back home. smiley - steam The whole thing will take 3 hours! smiley - grr

Make it a fun trip and reward yourself by doing something nice while you're in town... something wild and wacky you wouldn't usually do! smiley - ok

Why not telephone 'em that you tried to renew the smiley - book online but the 'thingy' wouldn't work. Then ask if you can post it to 'em without incurring a penalty. That will save you the trainfare + 3 hours of time.smiley - 2cents

Yes, I also had that thought. And they only want +20 cents per day too late so I can afford waiting until Monday anyhow.

Malabarista - now with added pony

Went riding in the woods for an hour and a half, came back and gave the horses a bath, had another half-hour or so jumping them over some poles - and had to go catch the pesky donkeys that got loose next door. I think that part was the most exercise I've had today! smiley - doh

Now I have to do boring things like wash clothes and tidy up. smiley - erm

Dragged the dog out, finished writing an essay, and remembered tomorrow is going to be a long, long day full of smiley - doctorsmiley - nurse. I didn't even get to make scones first!

Finished off another job application, too, for a strange little place near Cork which sounds highly eccentric indeed. smiley - bigeyes

I hate people who mix their metaphores too, its like, I dont know, its like water running deep when the horse has bolted the nest... or somethign smiley - huhsmiley - erm

WJH?: I looked in the bread storage vessel, and discovered only one baguette left... so Ihad half of it, toasted, with some butter and camenbert... then Idid some stuff on the computer, mainly Emails... and pondered this parcel, mentioned a few posts back, and tried to think what it might possibly have contained, asides socks smiley - ermsmiley - angel
Before which Iwas messing about looking at stuff on Amazon, and getting so annoyed with their useless search thinggy, and their awful suggestions and suchlike of the lines, 'people who looked for French bread baking pan, also suggested the following items'; ensues a long list of utterly unrelated books, CDs and other stuff smiley - huhsmiley - ermsmiley - bigeyes Some of the written descriptions on Amazon are getting increasgly badly written and vague smiley - grrsmiley - erm err what was I doing now? I've fogotten...

Just cleaned some of the old slabs on our patio at the back of the house, with that brush set that Mk2 bought from a TV shopping channel.

They came up a treat, just like new, they will come up even better after we have power washed them.

As I did leave a residue after scrubbing, but that was due to me not using enough water at the time? smiley - winkeye

smiley - cheersSmudger.

My car passed its MOT, I had the first session with my wedding bouquet designer (it's a jewelery concoction full of symbolic and sentimental brooches, earrings etc), I got a bingo in Scrabble, my fiance arranged to meet me for lunch tomorrow, and my daughter showed me the leotard she's ordering for her Grade 7 ballet exam.
