I just learned of the death of a friend.

I just had breakfast and finished the pot of coffee... almost awake properly now

WJH? Not enough sleep due to the getting me up 4 times in the night

WJH?: I commented on a friends comment on my comment, at his comment, about my commen that it was cold, on Facebook, and then noticed the radiator in here, just turned itself off Oh, and I scratched my left ear, just to make a change from scratching my left foot.

WJH: BBC Breakfast Telly have revealed that many of the words in the English dictionary aren't even English! The shock! How could this happen?





Slow news day, clearly...

Must be that erosion of Britishness we hear so much about

WJH: got woken up by a hooded crow banging quite hard on the window. At least it's not croaking "nevermore", I suppose.

Someone knocked at the back door, and as I went to answer, they went through the side gate and knocked at the front door.

By the time I'd gone from one door to the other they'd gone away!

Was it a visitor or a slapstick clown who got the wrong venue?

WJH?: William came round.... After spending a little while here, in the house we wondered out into town, and then wondered why we had wondered out into town. Went and had a coffee in the cafe, used the facilities then wondered back, considered goign to the butchers, but decided not to went to the shop next door for cigs and milk by which time its just about starting to snow again Now William has gone to get the bus

WJH? A man just knocked on the door doing a survey about radio listening habits. He couldn't quite believe that I never do

BBC radio four here, constantly... just about all day every day

WJH?: I took the sound of a harp, ran it through a few filters, delay, a massive SFX reverb, and decided I liked the sound; A sort of a mix between an electronic childs toy with a dieing battery, and a strangulated cry, made by the lesser nokia smartphone, were it to scream its final dieing moments, combined wiht a kind of strange celestial string deep in the forrest sort of noise... It'll do for now... just need more bass... and cowbell... natch

I sold our wee Smart car today, got the full asking price as well, but it looked great after I washed and hoovered it.

Been a good and bad day really, sorry to see her go

The main reason was, our youngest G/Daughter 18 months, had a bad fall, and I couldn't even take her to hospital, as its only got 2 seats?

I bought a bigger car last week on Ebay, it felt weird driving with a clutch and a manual gear box again, but its so quiet and comfortable.

I might even persuade Mk2 to go out in it, will let you know on that one
