I read the Post still, and I'm sure many others do too. I never comment on the articles, though. I can never think of feedback.

Please!
Please!
Please!
Please comment!
Anything!
A smiley will do!
A doughnut will do!
I have been contributing to The Post for over three years
and the number of comments I have received as either part
of the the original CAC or seperately, as a columnist and a
cartoonist has been in the low tens.
Any comment, even a simple is better than nothing!
Please?

I always read but i treat it as i would any article in a magazine or newspaper.I have never felt inclined to comment.I now appreciate that writers of articles would like a comment or two even if it is just to show that their efforts have been read and enjoyed.
Guilty as charged

yep even some of the older vetran post people like comments every once in a while otherwise it makes them think that others think their stuff is a load of dingos kidneys and that they should just stop making stuff since no one like it TonsilRevenge revenge is right even a simple smiley is a sign that you liked it

Hello everyone.
We do quite often plead in the editorial for comments. It's a great shame when someone puts a lot of time and effort into producing a poem, story, regular column or cartoon only to think no-one has looked at it purely because there are no postings.
A long time ago we were informed of page 'hits', but this was only for the Front Page. They were pretty healthy then and, judging by the comments we receive when there *isn't* an issue, there is no reason to think they've diminished.
So yes - please, please do give our writers some encouragement or healthy debate. We would obviously prefer that glaring errors, s/p mistakes or ommissions are emailed to us so that they can be dealt with immediately and without cluttering up fora off the actual articles. Otherwise, engaging with our contributors is absolutely the best way of ensuring that they continue to write/draw for us and The Post continue to provide entertainment to the h2g2 community.

I particularly like travelers from other countries, like Hypatier (sp?), who tell of their travels in UK, I have told her this elsewhere. Her series was very enjoyable, to hear of her opinions of Victorian style toilets, cream teas, fish and chips, etc was very informative. She is also a damn fine artist too!

Did you not read Hypatia's series of Post entries of her travels around England when she came here from America last year? I think there were around 12 parts that ended in last issue.
