My daughter in laws great grandmum is 111 she lives in Denmark and is nearly the oldest Dutch person although there are older people. She is bright and beautiful I am told and smokes one cigarette each day and takes one glass of wine. Dunno about the chocolate but she is still great to be with.

It is isn't it? I wish I knew how long the females lived in my family, but I was adopted and have no idea. I would really like to live for ever.

Living a good long time, now I could get used to that...

Anyway, if you live forever, you're going to get pretty cold and hungry and lonely at some point, when the sun's gone nova and destroyed the Earth and you're left floating in space

Must be in the gene weather you live longer than other's but the females in my family die older my grandmother is 103 she's great and fit as fiddle and she's a veggie

I tend to forget that we are slowly destroying the planet, I like to think that it will go on and on. I suppose you are right after a certain age you must get lonely too as no one around understands how you feel. Things have changed for me even and I get frustrated at the regulation and unfairness around.

103 that is a good age Princess, let us hope you have the genes. Don't know about the veggie bit I guess as long as you get all the right vitamins and now people are taking all kinds of vitamins and minerals I hope she lives on and on bless her heart.

That's because when we think of the future, we tend to think it'll be like now, with flying cars and better TV I think humans just can't imagine what the far future will be like, that it may be radically different. Anyway, if we could really predict what's possible in the future, we'd be able to invent it now, wouldn't we? It would just be a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy...

I hope i do get to that age my grandmother is now it realy nice as well.
Yeah we are destroying the planet we need to stop doing that otherwise we could all end up dead.

Hate to point this out Princess, as I always try to be the happy bunny on any thread, but *we could end up dead*, of course we will!! But I'm determined to enjoy every minute I have on this planet, and, so far, I have done!!

Things that make me feel old ... people talking about death!! Why worry about what happens next AFTER life?! I'd rather look forward to what happens next IN life!!

compared to the women in that choir, yes, they average more than twice as old as me...

I always enjoy life to the full and i'm not shy to try out new things
i am a dare and enjoy the fun of life even if mr hearts wants me to start acting my age and not my shoe size

I'd be a year younger than my youngest son if I acted my shoe size (he's only started school this year )

s men eh who have them and why do use women put up with them
if i did act my shoe size i'd be age 6 and i'd be out have fun every day with my skipping rope and bike and playing dolls again
