I was crying and my two cats both came up to me, sat on my chest, pawed at my face (claws not extended) purred and stayed there for about a half hour.

Hi LMB hope your well I was thinking exactly the same thing this morning, I got up, Alf's laying outside my door,( Alf's my dog,by the way) he sees me and that's it it's like he hasn't seen me for AGES!
it's so lovely to get a welcoming like that! He has been so good to me when I was unwell he wouldn't let me out of his sight, he used to lay by my bed and he generally looked concerned.

watching the film "The Last Waltz", cranking up the volume and dancing around the livingroom with no-one else at home to tell me to stop. Well--the cats were here but they just looked at me in bewilderment.
