I thought it would need a miracle to bring about a truce (aka cease-fire) between Jew and Arab.
What a tragic irony.

Ormy, did you see the list of 150 songs that a giant radio corporation recommended DJs stop playing for a while? In addition to "Great Balls of Fire" by Jerry Lee Lewis and "Jet Airliner" by Steve Miller Band, there were some obvious attempts to silence anti-war songs like "Peace Train" by [the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens], "War Pigs" by Sabbath, and the song you were joking about.

PS - some local (southern Michigan) rock/ white pop radio stations, the kind that were playing audio clips from the Simpsons or South Park two weeks ago in between their songs, are now playing Bush's platitudes about "an attack on the American way of life" and "smoke them out of their caves" and freedom and yada yada.
Apparently Q106 ROCKS! and SO DOES WAR!

*Wait's to see radio stations play fewer Phil Ochs songs -- realizes there is no way to play fewer than zero Phil Ochs songs. Sings "I Ain't A-Marching Anymore" to himself*

And didn't I hear that John Lennon's Imagine was on the no-play list -and also on the most requested?
Haven't enough died already? Please no more
