John the gardener says, "Free Tibet!" Posted Sep 18, 2001
"If there is love, there is hope to have real families, real brotherhood, real equanimity, real peace. If the love within your mind is lost, if you continue to see other beings as enemies, then no matter how much knowledge or education you have, no matter how much material progress is made, only suffering and confusion will ensue.
"Human beings will continue to deceive and overpower one another. Basically, everyone exists in the very nature of suffering, so to abuse or mistreat each other is futile. The foundation of all spiritual practice is love. That you practice this well is my only request."
-His Holiness the Dalai Lama

(sorry if that email address sounds war-like. Non-violence is still, unfortunately, a revolutionary idea in the U.S.)

No - need for an email address
a girl called Ben Posted Sep 19, 2001
Dogster wondered if we needed to include our email addressess - I did in Post 1, but I am not sure why I did... to make it more of a serious signature, to make it easier to contact the group as a group, stuff like that.
Hey - we are a bunch of pacificts here - all we will do to anyone who prefers to maintain their privacy is set our pigeons on them (sorry, that should read 'doves').

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
