*Creeps into the graveyard and disappears to somewhere*
Graveyard
His Divine Shadow: ACE, Shi Alyt Posted Dec 22, 2003
*a shadow near a mosoleum deepens slightly, and grows a tad. a voice wispers from the wind:*
dost thou wish to fight?
Graveyard
Spectre Posted Dec 22, 2003
*seeming to come from all directions at once, and airy, as if carried both towards and then away by the wind, is a long, whispered, "yesssss"*
Graveyard
His Divine Shadow: ACE, Shi Alyt Posted Dec 22, 2003
then fight
*the sky blackens and lighting crackles towards Spectre*
Graveyard
Spectre Posted Dec 23, 2003
*lightning does not hit anything that you can see*
*more wind is heard*
*appears out of nowhere behind hds, attempts to stab him with a solid black sword, and vanishes.*
Graveyard
His Divine Shadow: ACE, Shi Alyt Posted Dec 23, 2003
*The black blade seems to continue through HDS. With that, the deepened shadow is deep no more, and another deepens elsewhere. The shadow, almost a silouette seems to raise an appendage, with that a bolt of light screams out of the sky, a bolt cast from a spell that seeks out its target (Spectre) and upon striking causes great damage, and releases a nova of undead killing energy, it is a spell called "The Fist of the Heavens" (from Diablo II)*
Graveyard
Spectre Posted Dec 23, 2003
*in accordance to the end of my last post, vanishes*
*goes incorporeal*
*great damage*
*in an effort to avoid the bolt, suddenly just drops. That is, right through the ground, into the catacombs below, right through the earth.*
*the previous black blade, left where HDS was, disintegrates and reappears in Spectre's hand*
*gathers an immense amount of energy, sucking all heat out of the air in the catacombs for 50 feet around himself, and relaeses it in one ball of fire*
*a huge smoking crater is left where HDS had been standing*
*a pulsing, spinning orb of pitch black shadow disperses from the explosions radius, after casting "antilife shell"*

His Divine Shadow: ACE, Shi Alyt Posted Dec 23, 2003
damage and instant kill are determined by the target, but when one makes the effort to say "great damage" or anything similar, its curtious not to play it down, thank you for not playing it down
*The deepened shadow shifts and is deep no more, a shadow within the catacombs grows deeper and suddenly lightning flies out of it towards Spectre*
*A voice that is as much felt as it is heard booms from the walls*
You are unlike any foe I have yet battled
*Casts "life tap" and area effect curse that drains life from the efected into the caster*
Graveyard
Spectre Posted Dec 24, 2003
*regeneration has regained a small amount of health*
*"life tap" fails because I am not alive*
(it could even work backwards?)
*lightning travels towards, and seems to hit, Spectre but he dematerializes and disperses right before he's hit*
*draws the essence of a random mourner and intraps it in a black crystal*
*swirls around the crystal, somewhere(you can't know where without looking first) and releases it as a bomb towards hds*
(was behind you)
(the crystal will explode in a life-draining eldritch blast)
*disperses again and reappears somewhere*

Current...stuff...
:50% hp, regenerate 2% per 6 seconds.
:no abilities damaged
Graveyard
His Divine Shadow: ACE, Shi Alyt Posted Dec 24, 2003
*the HDS shadow disapears again, and reapears later. HDS casts Iron Maiden across the graveyard, a curse that returns damage done to him 400 fold on its initiator (that's 400% damage return)*
current stats: Life 100%, Mana 76% and returning quickly due to high level Warmth (mana recovery spell, does not require casting) all magical abilities currently working, except for life draining spells obviously
Graveyard
His Divine Shadow: ACE, Shi Alyt Posted Dec 24, 2003
what is an eldritch blast?
*The eldritch blast occurs, ripping a sizable hole nearby, and upending several grave stones and scattering some decaying bodies about. HDS casts revive on them and then activates his Sanctuary aura, whcih passes on to the 6 undead he now has. This aura repels and damages non-allied undead ata a range of 5 meters from the aura bearers. HDS positions his 6 undead in a a circle around him, effectively covering a 30 meter diameter*

Spectre Posted Dec 24, 2003
*spectre disperses to the realm of shadow*
*casts a psychic whip across the black abyss which latches onto HDS*
*returns to the graveyard, inside a mausoleum, and posesses a lich*
*starts casting Time Stop*
(iron Maidens will hit in a minute once I know what they will do, I'll pretend I had posted my reaction at the beginning of this post)

*response to the second posty*
Eldritch blast is like a black hellfire, just a very very evil fire, accompanied by a shattering screamish thing... I just sortya made it up but its based on a D&D ability
It's not stopped by fire resistance though.
*vanishes to the negative energy plane, quickly possesses each of HDS's undead and converts them to his side, and they are knocked to outside teh santuary*
You forget I am the God of Undead they are my weapons not yours

Iron Maiden works thus: if you shoot 1 bullet at me, 4 bullets come back (four times as big and four times as fast), if you throw a fire ball at me, a wall of fire returns (four times hotter, four times faster) not sure what it would do with this psychic whip thingy
*Casts Blessed Hammer, a spinning hammer of anti-undead energy flies in circles randomly around the graveyard. HDS Also casts Thunderstorm, which causes lots of lightning to randmoly strike around the graveyard. As to the psychic whip, channels a massive Shadow psych attack down it, this is a terrifying scream that causes most to go crazy, much like the Nazgul scream, but powerful enough to effect warriors accross hundreds of kilometers*
Graveyard
Spectre Posted Dec 25, 2003
*releases the psychic whip*
*casts inflict critical wounds* (touch spell, though I'm not near you, it inflicts a certain amount of damage)
*disperses and appears behind HDS but on the Ethereal Plane*
*touchs HDS with Inflict Critical wounds (will save or damage)
*Iron Maiden returns 4 of the inflict spells conbined*
*as an inflict spell is negative nergy, and by D&D definitions heals undead, I get back up to 100% health*
Thanks for the Iron Maiden, it's really useful if I need healing.

*The etherial HDS suddenly bursts into flames and turns into a massive fiery eye, it fires a masive Unholy bolt out of it's eternally deep pupil, a spiky shadowy ball that does undead style damage to the living, and this being a negative plane, it does massive living damage to the undead, deactivates his aura*
Graveyard
Spectre Posted Dec 25, 2003
*vanishes to the ethereal plane and attacks HDS with his sword and a claw- you can't be on both planes...*
Graveyard
His Divine Shadow: ACE, Shi Alyt Posted Dec 26, 2003
I am god of light and dark, a very broad set of things that can encompas most anything, negative and positive, good and evil, dead and living, [wise desision eh? ]. As to the great Eye. that is my etherial reflection. in LotR when Frodo truly sees the Nazgul, he sees them in the etherial plane, he is present at both and can be effected in both, its the same sort of thing
*The Eye reflection of HDS in the etherial blinks, blocking the blade, it opens up again and disgourges a mottled white and black magical bolt that effects living and dead, it lances out towards Spectre, seeking out his movements by the magic of the all seeing Eye*
if you hadn't guessed already, this eye is just like Sauron in his incorporeal form, big and seeing into the etherial and physical alike

Spectre Posted Dec 27, 2003
That's qutie an... unfair... eye, I think. Is there an equivalent of the ring for it?
*5% damage from this "bolt"...*
*vanishes to the Plane of Negative Energy*
*encompasses a chunk of shadow matter from the plane and brings it back with god-powers to the material plane, but remains himself on the Negative plane*
Shadowstuff- it's a sphere of annihilation, anything even remotely physical that comes in contact with this is totally, utterly annihilated. No magic of any form can bring it back.(if this were not a god battle then it would be bring-backable-technically the intervention of a deity can bring things back, but there would be an opposing deity also) And I have the amulet to control it...
*reposseses the lich he had said he posessed earlier but forgot about, and really casts Time Stop*
