Okay, so I'm stealing this idea from Mac. But since the game, officially, ended, I feel somewhat justified.

*Stops, turns around, realizes something*

Wait... didn't Sarah say that something was wrong with the Soulstone? That it was going to... hmmmm...

I seem to remember something coming out about this, but had to stay in character -- I figgured Goering was to meglomaniacle to actually concider that the Soulstone would explode on him.

*Has an evil idea. Places the Soulstone in the Time machine. As no CART directors seem to be around (and since he is armed, and all the henchmen are pretty much useless) He rushes to the controls and sets the space coordinates for Normandy Beach, France, and the time coordinates to coincide with the start of the Allies' Normandy Invasion (AKA D-Day, June 6, 1944). If this has the effect he wants it to, then the Allies *won't* turn the tide of the war, the Hitler will live long enough to get Goering's message about the Fountain of Youth, Germany will develop the Atomic Bomb before the US does, and the Nazis will overrun the world!*

Interesting. We don't think it was going to explode. And if it was, this silly Nazi hasn't thought about the effect on his machine, which we need.

*curves her wing so that Sarah, trying to find the door, unwittingly moves to the time machine and enters, thinking she has found an exit to the room*

I always wanted to see the invasion.

Let's just see to it that the totem stays intact and falls back into Sarah's hand.

*thinks that she is proceeding, when in fact she is walking in place. as the time machine activates, she is whisked back to Normandy*
