My own personal theory is that Scotch
whiskey was invented to cover up the
taste of that dreadful pudding made
from oatmeal, sheep's stomachs, and
any number of other incongruous things.
Sorry, I can't think of the name of the
pudding. Probably the name'll come to me
just as I'm falling asleep, and it will
be all through my dreams tonight.
