I've rung Scunthorpe Hospital to see if they can give me a clue when my stent-fitting will be. It will be weeks rather than months, which is comforting I suppose. Other than that, just take it easy and keep taking the tablets.

I'm sure they have you on a list of urgent procedures GB. I'll keep thinking positive thoughts that your name will be at the top of this list asap.

Believe me I am doing nothing I shouldn't be, light housework - washing pots, cooking, etc is all I can manage anyway. Gardening I am trimming and deadheading with no digging or lifting anything heavy. Wednesday is what wipes me out, helping my mother shop and put away, this week is also her bloodrun

Any chance you could do online shopping for her and get it delivered - some will even puy it away for you? Just a thought.

Mum does like to have a wander round the shops, we often go to the garden centre or the furniture shop just to browse. Tomorrow I'm taking her to the local carpet shop to help me choose the flooring for my new dining room, after the bloodrun

I have my frozen stuff delivered, but I still shop myself for the same reason your Mum probably likes to, but it is useful for some people.
