I would say that pretty much everything is based on real life events.
You may indeed use my story in the newspaper. I would like a copy of the issue in which it is printed, however. E-mail me for my mailing address if you think this could be done (in the case it does get printed.)

yeah... it had to be clever, it was an A/S level English creative writing thing. I didn't want go off the rails, cursed examiners...
I'll have a crack at the challenge though! The title is pretty challenging, at first glance it doesn't look like there's much scope for creativity, but there is.
