Thoughts on Man next door:
Er.. Cheery little ditty ain't it
I thought it was interesting. The little mystery of what it is that has got him down is rather good. The hypothesis in italics is interesting, but I think it falls apart a bit towards the end. i.e. he gets up and pays his rent, not in italics. That would be in italics elsewhere. Also, surely his friends would show more concern. If not, why don't they? Are they just knocking on his door for form's sake? They seem to think he is in, yet they get no feedback?
The feeling of decay created at the beginning is nice, and is carried through well, which ties in nicely with his eventual fate. Altogether, in my humble opinion, no' bad.
Now is your chance to rip me to shreds at http://www.h2g2.com/A302220

Hey, thanks! The italics thing was a guideML error which I think I sorted. I put a comment on your story over on it's page (I liked it), and It's linked too from the main page now as well.

Go for it Lance
Bluebottle why not write a synopsis of one of your novels. That could work as a "short" piece.

GNP Aaron Posted Apr 20, 2000
Yes, I'd accept that. And I could link to Amazon.com where people could buy your novels. Well, I could if they weren't haemorraging money like crazy.
No, but really, that's a good idea.

Stuff is posted. Also, I found a thing I wrote for a class a few years ago, and it's up too. I just pasted it out of Microsoft Word, without bothering to read it, so I can't vouch for it's quality.
Bluebottle - I linked to your bio page.
Looney - that truly is a tale of dispair, but the ending, unfortunately, went over my head.

Thanks for the link. Sadly nothing is published - I don't know how. The people all say "you need an agent" but don't tell me how to get one.

Try the telephone Yellow Pages" under "agent" or even better "Literary Agent". You may even find them on the web

Wednesday Addams (sleeping, mostly) Posted Apr 23, 2000
I've written something at http://www.h2g2.com/A305966. I wrote it for school when we were challenged to write stories with as many words others wouldn't know as possible, but I cut most of those out.
