Hey! Thanks for the feedback. I checked out the archangle quiz. Who is the sadist that whould have me choose between Doug Adams and a puppy! Have you any idea how long it's been since he wrote a novel? Thank goodness that wasn't the deciding question! Anyhoo, glad to be home. How long have you guys been here without me?

Hi. Can I join. Just as long as I don't have to fill in any forms or perform any rituals...

Thomas Posted Aug 7, 2000
Oh! Oh! Can I join? Do I get any kind of neat-o-rific title? I like neat-o-rific titles. As long as I don't need to work to get one. That would be sort of against the point, wouldn't it?

You know, I have'nt been here very long, but it sure seems like EVERYONE here has a title of some sort and they get to put BADGES on their pages. I think I may be the only one here without either.

Archangel Big 'Evil' Dan Posted Aug 7, 2000
There is no badge for Weekendism (I'd have to w*rk on making one, wouldn't I? ) but you can give yourself a title if you'd like.

Kumabear Posted Aug 8, 2000
Are you sure that you want a title? You might have to take on some sort of ....responsibility. (That word gives me the chills).
Sure a badge would be nice...but ...Then I would have to put one on my page. I don't like to type......I'm exhausted. It's my day off and now I have done too much.

Well frankly, I'm torn. I work for the government as a systems analyst. I spend the bulk of my day avoiding doing things on computers, so if I avoided doing things on computers after hours it would be kind of like working.

Archangel Big 'Evil' Dan Posted Aug 10, 2000
As I've said before, if you like doing it, it's not w*rk. And if you don't like avoiding real w*rk, you just shouldn't be here.

Ok, well I'm more confused then ever. I used to love my job so much I did it at least 60 hours a week as a volunteer for a year and a half but now I hate it so much that I avoid doing anything even though I get paid very well, come in late and leave early, and have already used up all of my sick leave, vacation, and approved unpaid leave. Do I qualify or not?

Archangel Big 'Evil' Dan Posted Aug 14, 2000
Since you *currently* hate your j*b, it is w*rk. But almost everybody qualifies for weekendism.
Well, off to track down a tribe of primitive civil servants on the Survivor island.

Yawn.
It's 1am(ish) Wednesday in the states, I just woke up and am on my way out to a kickin' early morning holy day party.
You think I qualify for membership?
