Hello, how is everybody doing?
I've spend my entire weekend doing nothing (well, reading, BBQ and hanging out in my garden with my purr purr enjoying the weather) so how come I don't feel refreshed?
Must be going back to work.
Lil, could I have a coffee please. Sorry to hear about you Billy troubles BTW.

Hi **twi** ---------> c(~)
Don't worry about the Billy project; I'm sure it's a blessing in disguise.
CaffeineAddict, what is wrong with your browser? Or did you do that on purpose??

Hi, all.
Could I have a Kona, black, please?
*Inhales deeply, enjoying aroma of coffee. Seems to detect a faint top note of "barnyard". Looks around, everything looks normal.*
Anything exciting happening?

Morning, folks. Just here briefly (I promised myself not to ge on h2g2 until noon today so that I could get some RL work done, but I had inadvertently left a window open with h2g2 running last night and I just HAD to read the backlog ...)
Lil - I read extensively and I would highly recommend the Harry Potter books. There are no pictures (except in the paperback version, there are small pictures on the chapter title pages) and from a literary standpoint, they are excellent. The characters are well developed and the story lines are compelling. When reading the 3rd book, I too had the experience of thinking that I knew what was coming, but ended up being totally wrong and totally thrilled at what actually happened. The reason for the phenomenon is that the books are simple exceptional.
And Freedom and BS - why worry about what other people think about what you are reading? Do you care what they read? And what difference would thier narrow-minded disapproval make anyway?

Hi, Witty. I might renew the discussion to a new thread; we took an accidental blast from somebody's browser, I think, and suddenly we're a couple of "clicks" fuller than we were an hour ago.
Shall I go for it? New thread?

BB: The trip to Paris is supposed to be just vacation, but I do have a few business relations there who I will at least try to have dinner with. Very nice people, great dinner parties
Lil, it's good to see you. Hope you had a nice weekend too, I won't even ask about the gnus...
