They better shouldn't be too freindly. For their own good, I mean.

CYBERHUMAN Posted Dec 19, 2006
*CYBERHUMAN sits down, turns on the TV, and then says*
If the aliens are hostile I expect mankind will try to domesticate them like he has done with so many creatures on Earth over the centuries. Or declare war on them for the sake of human survival, although if humanity has had to move planet, they may not be in a fit state to go to war with the inhabitants of a planet they've decided to colonise.
Read "The War of the Worlds" by H.G. Wells, or watch the films based on that novel, and you'll get an idea of what it might be like, although the invading aliens will be humans and they won't be invading but colonising and the humans will be aliens trying to survive.

Will you go on watching TV all the time now?

CYBERHUMAN Posted Dec 19, 2006
*CYBERHUMAN smiles*
Time in the real world and time in this thread are two completely different things Tav. When there's nobody posting in this thread, time stands still in the café, because there's nobody posting to allow time to move on. Say nobody posts in the café for 24 hours (real time) and then somebody posts saying they've come in to order a and a , well that doesn't mean that 24 hours have passed in the café, because nobody has posted to suggest that length of time has passed.
So, in answer to your previous message, I don't watch TV all the time in the café because otherwise I would have to post all the time saying *CYBERHUMAN watches TV* to show that in the café I am watching TV for all of the hours on the clock. Time only exists in the café when there are people in here posting messages that show the passing of time.
Quote from the Third Doctor in "Doctor Who" - "Time is a very strange thing, Jo. Once you start tampering with it the oddest things start happening."

Bit quiet in here again, eh?
Maybe you should hold a theme night to boost the Imps' morale. A disco , kareoke, a live act?
please

Yes, very quiet again.
That's a good idea! Hm... I'm not much for dancing, so... maybe better karaoke

Vamster Posted Apr 4, 2007
what about Rockaoke? It's a rock band that play well-known songs without a singer, so the audience has to get up and do it
Wonder if there's enough room?

Vamster Posted Apr 4, 2007
Well...let's do a head-count.
*points at Tav*...1

Oh!!! Me!!! Haha.

Plus about twenty Imps
I think we can fit those in.
Now we just need to get Rockaoke here through P-Space...
