A children's entertainer has been banned by Tesco from using balloons during his act in one of their stores.
"We have banned balloons because latex is used in the manufacture of them and this can trigger an allergic reaction in some children. We always have the welfare of children at heart."

That's the single most ridiculous thing I've read in a long time.

I do hope Tesco have put in their full attention to this problem. They should immediately withdraw all balloons for sale and issue a product recall plus full compensation for any children affected by anaphylactic shock instituted by a balloon.
Plus anyone distressed by one popping unexpectedly, and anyone with sore jaws after blowing too many up...
No?

Why doesn't this guy just pack up his act and take it to the local Asda - I'm sure they would be delighted with the publicity.

Kinda buggers your act as it's making animals from malleable lengths of balloon.
Somebody in AUTHORITY must be worried about a condom shortage, which will reduce their ability to contain all the dick heads.

So there might end up being two Dalai Llamas
Would that mean one of them has to live in Avignon?
Would one be an AntiDalia LLama or a Dalai AntiLlama?

Got this of slashdot. An IP tracer for Wiki edits, so you can see who has been whitewashing what.

Interesting to see who is in there. The UK Consevratives mucking about with Oliver Letwin's past. Someone in the Vatican removing bits of stories about Gerry Adams. The BBC saying naughty things about GWB. OK - the edits are by individuals and not necessarily reflective of their employers views.
