What the heck is wrong with hootoo?

Err is anyone else having major difficultys?
I have not been able to get pages up and when I go to my page all the info, my introduction convos and entries have been deleted.
This has been happening for about two or three hours.
Does anyone know what is going on?

Yup, the white mice that power the servers in the BBC have gone on strike and refused to run around on their little wheels... Therefore we've all been stuck with those weird happenings

Some major kerplooiness in the databse I think. Apparently they've now rebooted it or some such stuff and it's working again, so we don't have to go out into the real world. Yay!

It seems to be fixed now, (well, actually i never saw it broken)
And this sort of thing isn't that common on hootoo, its far more common that we get either a server slow down meaning that pages take a loooooong time to load, or that there is scheduled maintenance in the middle of the (Brittish) night.

It's just been playing me up with the same fault. I had to close down everything and switch off the pooter, let it have a wee rest and then boot it back up. Harrumph.

No reason to reboot yourself... the problem does not lie with your set... it's the hootoo servers... they've been carfunklated and boombazzlemiffied.
