Allbeit that I want to be cremated since I don't feel we need to pollute our planet anymore...the smog is bad enough
I'll think I'll still

Now it’s over I’m dead and I haven’t done anything that I want, or I’m still alive and there’s nothing I want to do...

Still like the old classics:
Alas for poor auld Willie,
We'll n'er see Willie no more.
For what he thought was H2O,
Was H2SO4.

I hope it is later, rather than sooner. Although I just went and got my blood pressure done and it was 187/102 and my heart-rate was 86, so......
I don't intend to have a headstone. I want to be cremated.
I intend to design a box with smaller boxes inside. I want my ashes put in the smaller boxes, and friends, when they go on a trip somewhere, sprinkle a little of me there. That way, I get to travel after I am gone.
My in-laws were in a church somewhere where they had memorial windows. One of them was for a widow and listed her 18 children. The epitaph was "She did the best she could." Not exactly a poetic remembrance, is it?
If I were to have an epitaph, and I haven't really thought about it, it likely would be something humorous.
"I know who you are and I know what you did...."
"You have a schmutz on your lip. No, over to the left. No, you missed it again, further left. Too far, a little to the right."
"Can you scratch my back?"
Perhaps a series of (made-up) cryptic signs and something about a treasure?
"If I were you, I'd do something about that nose...."
